Glane—metalworking with history, technology, and expertisefor the future. Developed from a traditional smithy, the family business is now primarily a flexible problem solver for metal products. As early as the 1950s, the company had its own patent for a scaffolding system. Founded by grandfather Franz Glane around 1900 as a wagon smithy, the business—later taken over by Alois Glane—developed into a farrier's smithy, agricultural machinery manufacturer, metal construction company, and contract welding shop.
Franz Glane is now the third generation to be responsible for the family business since January 1, 1989.
